Many thanks to you Cynthia for helping to organize a wonderful evening of book talk and for sharing this recent Roth interview.
I am a local librarian and English tutor.
My only tie to Stanford is that I live in the community–so I appreciated the invitation to attend and free and open to the public book talk with such eminent speakers.
Thanks to A Second Look, I did take a second look at The Ghost Writer, which I first read in the early 1980s, when I was young Zuckerman’a age.
I am now 56.
I did indeed take a second look.
